Details :- LN292 was involved in a mid-air collision with another Halifax from 466 Squadron HZ531 shortly after take off. LN292 crashed into Carlisle Street, Goole about 00:25.
     
 All 10 crew members were killed.

Sgt Payne is buried in St Luke Churchyard, Thurnby.
Sgt Noar is buried in Rainsough Jewish Cemetery.
Sgt Elliot is buried in Earlsfield Cemetery, Wandsworth.
